Ransom Paid

Somali pirates promised on Monday that they would release all Indonesian hostages onboard “Sinar Kudus”.

The pirates have reportedly received a 3 million U.S. dollar ransom, a pirate said in a phone interview with local Filipino television.

The vessel along with its 20 crews have been held by the pirates since last month. Initially the pirates asked 2.6 million U.S. dollar ransom, then they raised it to 3.5 million U.S. dollar.
