At 0432 UTC a merchant vessel was reported under attack by a group of pirates using a single skiff.
The NATO Counter Piracy Operation, “Ocean Shield” has reported that the vessel managed to evade hijack. Vessels transiting near this area are advised to navigate with extreme caution.
