Online whistle-blower WikiLeaks has released a piracy related memo from the US Embassy in Manila.

In the 2007 memo the US Ambassador reported on the Philippine views on the “MV Golden Nori” piracy attack.

The US stated that the Philippine government did not know who was onboard and had no intention to get involved in any court cases to convict the pirates.
