S. Korea’s first trial of foreign pirates to begin Monday.

Four of the five Somali pirates arrested on charges of hijacking a South Korean freighter and shooting its captain will face jury trial in the port city in the nation’s first piracy case.

The five Somali pirates were captured alive during a navy commando operation which saw eight other pirates killed and 21 hostages rescued.
