Release Beckons

Pirates are set to release an Egyptian multipurpose ship after payment of a ransom.

The Red Sea Navigation multipurpose vessel 17,000-dwt “Suez” (built 1984) is expected to be freed after a payment was parachuted to the ship.

It will be interesting to see whether the pirates release the entire Indian crew onboard, or whether there will be yet another stand off as happened when the “Asphalt Venture” was freed recently.
