Holy Orders

The Catholic Church has issued a  statement on:  ‘Piracy and seafarers: a human crisis’.

They urge Governments and international organizations, to act in bringing seafarers home and to find solutions to piracy.

The statement goes on to stress the real causes of the piracy “phenomenon”, such as unfairness in the distribution of goods between countries and the exploitation of natural resources.
