Security Gift

The French government has donated a patrol ship to Kenya Navy to assist in the war on terrorism, piracy and drug trafficking in the Indian Ocean.

French ambassador Etienne de Poncins said his government has donated “MV La Rieuse” to enable Kenya navy counter crimes in the high seas. Etienne said piracy and drug trafficking had become an eyesore in the Indian Ocean and needs urgent solution.
