Faster and Better

A senior Indian military official has stated that new assets are needed to allow the nation to reach out to the Indian ocean where the pirate activities were “reasonably close” to the Lakshadweep islands.

It was also stressed that pirates were also reportedly upgrading their weaponry and mode of transportation.

Faster and better armed pirates are  real concern, and once the Monsoon lull passes there are fears that the pirates may come back stronger than ever.
