Algerian authorities have apparently reached an agreement release Algerian sailors held hostage by Somali pirates, according to sources close to the Foreign Ministry.
The sources said the Algerian authorities have had tough ongoing negotiations with the pirates, led by Algerian intermediaries working alongside Ethiopian negotiators.
