Contract Killer
BIMCO has announced the creation of a standard contract for the private maritime security industry.
The new contract, which is expected to be launched in 2012 will provide what has been touted as a “a much-needed benchmark on which to judge PMSCs.” However, it has been stressed that this is no cure all for a new industry which has wrestled with its reputation.
