MARITIME PIRACY – WORKSHOP FOR PRIVATE MARITIME SECURITY COMPANIES MARCH 2013

Ince & Co workshop designed specifically for private maritime security companies.

This workshop, with a team led by Ince & Co partner Stephen Askins, will follow a similar format to our September 2012 event, bringing delegates up to speed on some key issues including an update on floating armouries, legal requirements of ISO 28007 including the UK Bribery Act and human rights. We will also consider the Maritime Labour Convention and its impact on maritime security companies, and other recent developments.

Stephen Askins is pleased to announce that Ben Emmerson QC of Matrix Chambers will be guest speaker at our workshop covering human rights and requirements under ISO 28007. Emmerson has been described as “one of the ten best silks in the country” and “a leading presence in the field of human rights.”  (Chambers & Partners).
