Iran Dispatches New Naval Fleet to High Seas

The Iranian Navy’s 32nd fleet of warships departed for the Gulf of Aden in a bid to protect the country’s cargo ships and oil tankers in the international waters.

The fleet, comprised of Jamaran destroyer and Bushehr logistic vessel, set sail on Tuesday from Iran’s southern port city of Bandar Abbas.

During its mission, the 32nd fleet will cross the Strait of Hormuz, the Sea of Oman, north of the Indian Ocean, Gulf of Aden and Bab el-Mandeb strait.
