4-day sea operation between MMEA and Australia

The fight against maritime transnational crimes is a responsibility of every seafaring nation and if the work is shared, the threats could be better addressed.

Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) deputy director-general (operations) Maritime Admiral Datuk Ahmad Puzi Ab Kahar said this shared responsibility would also foster relationships and enhance the sharing of experiences, information and assets.

“MMEA fully recognises the need to do more on a collective basis to ensure maritime security and safety in this region.”
