US, PH to tackle maritime security

A United States Coast Guard (USCG) commandant will meet tomorrow his counterpart in the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to make discussions that would further strengthen their cooperation in law enforcement and maritime security.

Describing it as first in history of PCG, USCG Commandant Admiral Paul Zunkunft would visit PCG main headquarters in Port Area, Manila, Coast Guard spokesperson Commander Armand Balilo said on Monday.
