KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) director-general Vice-Admiral Datuk Ahmad Puzi Ab Kahar lauded the Government’s move to allocate more funds to obtain state-of-the-art assets, including several new vessels.

“It is in line with our goal of tightening security in Malaysian waters,” he said.

“It will also enable us to prove safe shipping routes and sea lanes for those plying our waters,” he added.
