‘Pirates’ kill fisherman, injure 35 others in Bay

Bhola: A fishermen was shot to death and 35 others were injured in an attack by suspected pirates at Kutubdia channel of the Bay of Bengal in Chittagong on Friday.

The deceased is M Sidu Miah, 40, a resident of Bhobanipur union in Daulatkhan upazila.

Other victims hail from different villages of the upazila.
