Dutch firm contracted to build six ships for Somali coast guards has confirmed that it is on the last stage.

Somali ambassador to European Union who visited the firm headquarters in Rotterdam said his confident that the ships will be delivered on time.

The Atlantic marine offshore company was contracted by the federal government of Somalia on July 2013 to start building the ships meant for Somali navy. The company will also train Somali navy who are tasked to operate the ships upon delivery.
