Navy profiles ships, owners involved in stage-managed kidnap attempts
By Evelyn Usman lagos—Nigerian Navy, yesterday said it had begun profiling names of ships and their owners who specialised in hoax kidnap attempts on the high sea aimed at creating false panic on the safety of the nation’s maritime domain.
Chief of Training and Operations, Rear Admiral Adeniyi Osinowo, spoke at the inauguration of 23 officers of the rank of Captains and Commanders, for the maiden four-week Command Level Officers’ course held at the Nigerian Navy Ship Quorra, Apapa, Lagos.
