Nigeria: Challenge of Combing Niger Delta Creeks, Gulf of Guinea With ‘Eagle Eye’

Abuja — The task of protecting Nigeria’s maritime area, where a large chunk of the country’s revenue comes from, is, no doubt, herculean, as bunkering activities, illegal refining of crude, militancy, sea piracy and others pose a challenge to smooth operation of profitable ventures.

The Nigeria Navy and other security agencies are quite conversant with these challenges, and have, over the years, strived to curb the menace.
