Commander of Iran’s Navy Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari has said Iran enjoys six geopolitical marine crossings in the region.
Army Navy general received a high-ranking delegation of Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) on Wednesday. Mr. Sayyari believed Iran and Pakistan were located in a strategic part of the Indian Ocean where strategic waters hosted crossings crucial to the security of energy and trade worldwide; “5 important crossings are in the vicinity of Pakistan; both country are located in an important energy circle, which gives them strategic weight,” he told the meeting.
