French Navy confirmed for Maritime Reconnaissance & Surveillance Technology 2018

SMi Reports: Captain Sacha Bailly, Officer in Charge of Protection and Safeguarding Capability Plans and Programs for the French Navy, will be joining Maritime Reconnaissance & Surveillance Technology this January to discuss “Optimising French Naval Surveillance and Reconnaissance Capabilities through the Introduction of Advanced Technologies”.

Captain Sacha Bailly of the French Navy will be presenting an exclusive session at SMi’s Maritime Reconnaissance & Surveillance Technology Conference in Rome, on 30th January 2018.

Speaking on day 2 of the conference, Captain Bailly’s presentation will provide an overview of what is accessible to the French Navy for Maritime Awareness, the link between these assets for an effective C2 system and integrating future platforms for a greater recognised maritime picture.

Captain Bailly joins a speaker line-up of highly acclaimed international speaks from a wide range of nations including Italy, Canada, Belgium, USA, UK and Belgium with our keynote speaker representing NATO MARCOM. The conference will be chaired by Rear Admiral Anthony Rix, Former Flag Officer Sea Training, Royal Navy.

In recognising the needs of maritime authorities to develop their space-based surveillance capabilities, Maritime Reconnaissance and Surveillance Technology will once again partner with space technology leader C-SIGMA to deliver an exclusive pre-conference workshop. Guy Thomas, Director of C-SIGMA will be hosting the workshop on “Improving International Collaboration in Space to Enhance Maritime Situational Awareness” taking place on 29th January.
