Tanjung Priok Categorized Prone to Piracy, Indonesia Protest

Bisnis.com , JAKARTA – The Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia conveyed a protest note to [Joint] War Committe (JWC), because Tanjung Priok Port is still listed in the list of war-prone and piracy zones.

Achmad Ridwan Tento, Secretary General of IMLOW (Indonesia Maritime, Logistic & Transport Watch), considered that the Indonesian government has issued a warning protest because the list of war risks issued by JWC is no longer in accordance with the conditions and facts in the field especially in Tanjung Priok port.
