Ghana Navy calls for review of maritime laws to ensure adequate protection

The current maritime laws of the country make it difficult for the Navy to adequately protect vessels and assure them of their safety.

Chief Staff Officer at the Navy Headquarters, Commodore Issah Yakubu was explaining to Radio Ghana why some suspicious vessels which were arrested in the territorial waters of the country ended up being released due to limitations in the legal framework.
