Aussie navy ship arrives for 5th anti-terrorism-piracy training

The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) patrol craft arrived here in the southern port on Monday for the joint maritime security exercise with the Philippine Navy in the seas of Zamboanga Peninsula, Sulu, and Basilan Strait.

The HMAS Launceston vessel equipped with gunship and state-of-the-art patrol radar and patrol boats and carrying dozens of navy crew docked at Zamboanga City’s pier in the morning.
