Iran Lodges Protest over US Sanctions on Ships

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s embassy in Britain has lodged a protest at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in response to the US government’s sanctions against Iranian merchant vessels.

In a message on his Twitter account on Thursday, Iran’s Ambassador to London Hamid Baeidinejad said the embassy has sent a letter to IMO Secretary-General Kitack Lim to condemn the US unilateral sanctions against Iranian trade vessels.
