Mozambique naval officers get training from Indian Coast Guard
In a first, naval officers from Mozambique have arrived here to undergo training at the Coast Guard Region (East) here, to handle indigenously-built interceptor boats as part of an international cooperation between India and the east African country.
According to a statement issued by Defence wing, the training is aimed at providing hands-on experience in handling the boats before India donates two units (boats) to the Mozambique Navy.
