Cocaine Bound for Cartagena Seized at Port of Santos, Brazil Amongst Container of Lemons

March 19: A large quantity of cocaine was allegedly found aboard a vessel at the Brazilian port of Santos.

Police claimed the narcotics were found by two sniffer dogs in a container carrying fresh lemons packed in paper boxes and headed towards Cartagena.  The group behind the alleged smuggling attempt are said to have intended to move their cargo to another vessel once in the port of Algeciras.
