Anchored Bulk Carrier Boarded and CM/Vessel Robbed at Taboneo Anchorage, Indonesia

UPDATE July 02: The bulk carrier in the below incident has been identified as the Liberian-flagged ODYSSEAS L (IMO Number 9597381).

May 23: At approx. 11:30 UTC at Taboneo Anchorage seven persons armed with knives, boarded an anchored bulk carrier and were noticed by the duty watchman who raised the alarm. Crew mustered. The unauthorized persons threatened the crew with their knives, stole ship property and escaped. Incident reported to Taboneo Port Control. A patrol boat was dispatched to investigate.
