Sri Lankan Navy Apprehends Three Persons With 76.6 kg of Kerala Marijuana

May 15: A team of Sri Lankan naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command apprehended three persons with 76.6kg of Kerala marijuana whilst on patrol in the seas off Mamune Champiyanpaththu. It is believed that the smugglers had tried to transfer the narcotics to Sri Lanka via a dinghy. The narcotics and dinghy are now scheduled to be handed over to the Police Narcotic Bureau, Jaffna.
