CSOA REPORT: Iran UAV Attack

June 20: At approx. 04:05 LT this morning Iran shot down a US military surveillance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Reports of the location of the UAV at the time it was attacked vary. Iran states the UAV was violating its airspace near the village of Kouhmobarak in the province of Hormozgan, near the Strait of Hormuz. The US alleges the UAV was in international airspace in the Strait of Hormuz. The UAV reportedly landed in the Strait of Hormuz.
