Theft Aboard Vessel at Lagos Secure Anchorage

September 23: On the 23rd September at 0315UTC, an unspecified MV was in LAGOS secure anchorage [11nm off Lagos, Nigeria), in position 06°17’24”N – 003°14’06”E, the watchman on duty noticed 2 men onboard and was threatened and the watchman raised the alarm. A Nigerian patrol boat came into the area. It has been observed that locks were broken and razor wire was also removed from the vessel.
