Marseille Port Blocked By Burning Barricades Amid Nationwide Protests

December 12: The entrance to the port of Marseille has been blocked by protester’s actions on Thursday. Videos show burning barricades blockading the entrance. The secretary general of the CGT of the port has stated that passengers were able to get off the ferry this morning, but that otherwise there has been no activity – no one coming in or out – of the port, and that the blockage continued throughout the day.
