Guardian drones to act as force multipliers for Indian Navy

WASHINGTON: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, the US has cleared the sale of 22 predatorĀ Guardian drones, a force multiplier that will boost theĀ Indian Navy’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.

The deal, estimated to be worth $2 to $3 billion, has been approved by the state department, sources said.
