Mozambique, US in navy exercise to combat illegal fishing

Mozambique and the US will embarked a combined military exercise code-named “Cutlass Express 2019”, which seeks to combat illegal trafficking, maritime piracy and the interception of vessels engaged in illegal fishing.

Mozambique’s navy, the US and 15 other nations begin on Tuesday an 11-day naval exercise in the city of Pemba, province of Cabo Delgado, which ends on 7 February.
