Hundreds of Kilos of Cocaine Intercepted in Two Seizures at Port of Rotterdam; 5 Suspects Arrested

August 9 & 12: This weekend two containers with hundreds of kilos of cocaine were intercepted in the port of Rotterdam. Five men have been arrested.

The narcotics have a street value of between 25 and 40 million euros, writes RTV Rijnmond . The police assume that the two finds are separate from each other. The narcotics have been destroyed.

The first container was intercepted on Friday. It contained 500 kilos of cocaine hidden in fruit juice. Two days later, the police found another 750 kilos in a fruit container.

The second drug discovery led to a raid on Monday at a company in Rozenburg. There the five suspects were arrested.
