Armed Robbery Aboard Tanker at Port Au Prince Anchorage, Haiti

February 25, 07:07 UTC: Two unauthorized persons armed with a gun boarded a tanker at Port Au Prince Anchorage in Haiti (posn. 18:34.0N – 072:23.2W). Alert duty crew noticed the intruders, raised the alarm and retreated into the accommodation. All crew mustered. Seeing the alerted crew, the unauthorized persons escaped with ship’s property in a wooden boat along with another accomplice. The incident was reported to the CSO and Port Control.
