Man abducted by pirates returns after 15 months

It was joy and celebrations at Mundoro village in Kiambu when a family welcomed home a son who had been abducted by Somali pirates 15 months ago.
James Kuria, 31, could not hold back tears as he met family members for the first time since November 24, 2014 when he was abducted together with his colleague Loice Njoki in Somali where they worked in a private clinic owned by a Kenyan.
On the day they were captured, Kuria—a support staff at the Sinai Clinic—and his Kenyan colleague Njoki were on their normal duties when the Somali pirates struck, taking them hostage and later demanding for ransom.
