Armed And Effective

Information is emerging of an armed team onboard the Iranian VLCC “Hadi” having played a significant role in warding off a Pirate attack.

Internet reports said that the National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) vessel loaded with crude oil was attacked by Somali pirates on November 25, in a central part of Arabian Sea.

The vessel was fired upon from AK’s and RPG, but managed to evade pirates and escape.
