The Norwegian government has presented new rules and regulations on the carriage of arms onboard their vessels.

“We see that other countries are also introducing similar legislation. The pirates have good intelligence. They know the contents of the cargo, who the crew are, and whether there are armed guards aboard. We want our sailors to feel safe,” said a senior Minister.
