Another vessel has fallen prey to opportunistic robbers have off Singapore.

A Vietnam-owned general cargo ship was attacked by knife wielding thugs in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The 14,241-dwt “Shipinco I” (built 1983) was boarded while underway in position 1° 10.76′N, 103° 50.87′E, about 1.9nm west of Batu Berhanti buoy. Five robbers took part in the attack on the Mongolian-registered vessel. no crew were injured.
