Stepping Up

Lawyers are increasingly dissatisfied with the IMO stance on armed guards.

John AC Cartner writing in Lloyd’s List claimed that the recent statement and guidelines on the carriage of armed guards from the IMO is not helpful.

Claiming that the statement is completely accurate and completely useless. He wants the IMO to step up and make a real difference, not just sit on the fence waiting, hoping and passing the buck.
