Kenyan Navy to get six US-made patrol boats

The US Naval Sea Systems Command is seeking to acquire six 4.7 metre-long rigid inflatable boats for the Kenyan Navy to boost its capabilities in the conduct of maritime security operations.

In a solicitation notice published on the Federal Business Opportunities register on June 29, the command said the company sought will service the Kenyan order under the US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programme which supports the growth and development of partner militaries across the world.
