Indonesian sailor kidnapped in Sulu Sea

JAKARTA: An Indonesian sailor has been abducted by unidentified gunmen in the Sulu Sea in yet another kidnapping incident involving dozens of seafarers in recent months, according to local news reports.

An Indonesian government official told online news portal detik.com on Sunday (Aug 7) that the sailor was the captain of a shrimp fishing vessel.
