Drills aim at confronting terrorism, naval security threats, as well as exchanging training expertise

Egypt, France carry out joint military drills in Red Sea

Egypt and France conducted starting Friday joint military drills in the Red Sea, for several days, in order to exchange training expertise, according to Egyptian military spokesperson Tamer El-Refaie.

The recent joint drills were carried out by the Egyptian and French navies at a naval base in the Red Sea with the aim of enhancing bilateral military cooperation, as well as recognising recent naval combating tactics and optimising the mutual use of both countries’ forces.
