Gathering Evidence

The UK Foreign Affairs Select Committee is holding its second of three evidence sessions in its inquiry into Piracy off the coast of Somalia.

This session is examining the UK’s anti-piracy policy overall, including NATO and other operations in which the UK is involved.

They are also examining the situation on land in Somalia in particular the issues that are both causing piracy and proving an obstacle to international efforts to resolve it.
