Turkish frigate “TCG Giresun” has completed its anti-piracy mission off Somalia and returned to Turkey, Turkish Naval Forces Command said in a statement.

The frigate docked at a navy base in Marmaris in the Aegean Sea after a 151-day mission, the statement said.

During its mission off Somalia, the crew of Turkish frigate boarded pirate boats and captured a total of 26 Somali pirates.
