The Role of Seychelles in Counter-Piracy
Transcripts of the speeches made at the Chatham House event on 21 February 2012 are now available.
The Hon Joel Morgan, Minister for Home Affairs, Environment, Transport and Energy, Republic of Seychelles, discussed the impact of piracy in the Indian Ocean, and outlined steps that should be made by the international community to solve the problem.
The Hon Jean Paul Adam, Foreign Minister, Republic of Seychelles, discussed the role being played by Seychelles in surveillance and intervention, and in mobilising regional support to tackle the threat of piracy.
