Stock Rotation

According to media reports the Greek bulk carrier “MV Dover” could soon be released from pirate control.

The vessel was hijacked off Oman in February, with 23 crew onboard.

If the reports are correct then this will be the second release in quick succession, as the “MV Sinin” was freed this week after a ransom agreement was reached. Some observers suggest the pirates are “rotating stock”, getting ready to take more vessels.
